The Shenandoah Valley Animal Service Center provides local animal control services regionally for Waynesboro, Staunton, and Augusta County. Stray, abandoned, lost, and surrendered dogs, cats and other companion animals will be cared for at the new shelter. Residents of the three localities can call their local Animal Control Services to have animals taken into care or residents can take the animal directly to the regional Animal Services Center.

Local animal control services will be available in Staunton 24 hours a day 7 days a week to assist residents.
 
Residents of Waynesboro should call: 540.942.6701
Local animal control services will be available in Waynesboro 24 hours a day 7 days a week to assist residents.
 
Residents of Augusta County should call: 540.245.5635
In Augusta County only emergency calls will receive response after 7:00 pm. Non-Emergency calls will be responded to the next day.
